Renshi Jeramy  E. Martin - Devlin  Godan Shoju-kempo Ryu & Shojukempo International Martial Arts Association USA

This 23 yr. old has 21 yrs. of Martial Arts Training under his father & Instructor Prof. Larry S.L. Martin. Renshi Martin - Devlin's training consist of Okinawan Hawaiaan Kempo, American Kenpo, Kajukenpo, Shoju-kempo ryu, Ninjitsu, Shotokan Karate-do and Kobudo. this 3 time New England Gold Medal Kumite Champion is still a kid to hart. but, when it comes to Martial Arts he's a diffrent person all together! Renshi started his Martial Arts training at the young age of 2 yrs. old in East Providence, Rhode Island his first Martial Art was Ninjitsu. until he was able to understand the meaning of Karate-do!

I began my Martial Arts training Aug. 10th 1989 at the young age of 2 years old under my father and Instructor Prof. Larry S.L. Martin Hanshi. Other Instructors that I have trained under are Fernando Restrepo Shihan, Jody Gibson Shihan, Christopher J. Dacey Shihan in the following Martial Arts. Ninjitsu, Okinawan Kempo, Shoju-kempo ryu, and Shotokan Karate-do.

2 yrs. Old. 1989 10th kyu white belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do

3 yrs. Old. 1990 received my yellow belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do

At the age of 3. I was awarded a Trophy for being the youngist Kid at the New Hampshire State Karate Championship hosted by Sensei Ed Budd. It was my first trophy that I had ever won, for my age.

4 yrs. Old. 1991 received my orange belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do.

5 yrs. Old. 1992 received my blue belt in Shoju-kempo  ryu Karate-do.

6 yrs. Old. 1993 received my green belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do.

7 yrs. old. 1994 received my purple belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do.

8 yrs. Old. 1995 received my brown belt in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do.

1995 received my 1st kyu black stripe in Shotokan Karate-do.

1995 received my 2nd kyu black stripe in Shotokan Karate-do.

1995 received my 3rd kyu black stripe in Shotokan Karate-do.

8 yrs. Old. 1995 received my 4th kyu black stripe in Okinawan Kempo.

I was interviewed by the Bristol Phonix News paper for being

the youngist Jr. Black Belt. at the age of 8yrs. Old it was

called the real Karate Kid.

1996 received my Jr. black belt in Shoju-kempo  ryu Karate-do.

8 yrs. Old. 1996 I won 2 gold medals at the Fall River Moo Duk Kwan Karate Championships Kata / Kumises.

8 yrs. Old. 1996 I won 2 more gold medals at the Rhode Island Speical Olympics Karate Championships in Kata / Kumite

9 yrs old 1997 I received my Jr. 1st Dan in Shoju-kempo ryu Karate-do.

10 yrs. Old. 1998 I moved to Ft. Myers Fla. For 1 year with my Bio mother and trained on my own. Until I came back to Rhode Island.

11 yrs. Old. 1999 came back to Rhode Island for the Summer, trained with my step mother and received my Jr. 2nd Dan black belt in the following Martial Arts, Shoju-kempo ryu, Shotokan Karate-do and Okinawan Kempo.

12 yrs. Old. 1999 Received my Jr. Asst. Instructors Certification to Asst. my father at Nathan Bishop Middle School Shotokan Karate Club. Where I also attended School there. For my Academics.

13 yrs. Old. 2000 Received my Jr. 3rd Dan black belt in Shoju-kempo ryu, Okinawan Kempo, Shotokan Karate-do.

Up to date

In 2001 I was inducted in the the Karate Angels hall of fame feature story. As the youngest Jr. Black Belt 4th Dan at the age of 14 yrs. Old.

I’m the Co. founder of the R.I.Interscholastic Shotokan Karate Alliance.

And the Jr. Asst. Instructor for the Nathan Bishop Middle School Shotokan Karate Club with the title of WakaShihan ( young Master )

In 2003 I was awarded my Adult 5th Dan Black Belt the youngest 16 year old high ranking Black Belt in the world.

In 2003 I was awarded my Adult 4th Dan Black Belt in Traditional Shotokan Karate-do the youngest in the world at the age of 16 yrs. Old.

In 2005 Prof. Larry S.L. Martin awarded me with my Instructors Teaching Liesence in the Arts of Shotokan Karate-do, Okinawan Kempo, Shojukempo International, with full honors and title Renshi

I'm a B,C, student at William B. Cooly High School in Providence, R.I. known as Health & Science Tech.

Presently holds

4th Degree Black Belt in Traditional Shotokan Karate-do

5th Degree Black Belt in Shoju-kempo ryu, Shojukempo International, Okinawan Kempo.

5th Degree Black Belt in Karazenpo Goshin Jutsu.

1st Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Weapons Kobudo-ryu

1st. Degree Black Belt Aiki-jujitsu

Presently

I’m the Asst. Chief Instructor for R.I.Shotokan Karate-do Hombu Dojo Shojukempo International HQ. And testing board examiner for all ranks, students and Association members from the ages of 4 & up

At the present time I’m the highest ranking 23 year old in the Country and around world, with a 5th Dan Black Belt in American Kenpo, Okinawan Kempo, Shoju-kempo ryu, Hawaiian Kempo and Shaolin Kempo.

Under Grandmaster / Prof. Larry S.L. Martin Hanshi, Sijo Victor " Sonny " Gascon, Dr. Professor Robert M. Handley Hanshi.

In 2003 I won gold medal in kumite at the New England Karate-do Association State Qualifere hosted by Shihan Arias every tournament that Shihan Arias has given I have won 3 yrs. In a row hopefully I’ll win a 4th gold medal

2003 Renshi Martin-Devlin is the President and founder of the World Youth Martial Arts Federation with over 150 members world wide.

2003 I joined a band formerly called Cursed and we changer the name To The foundry. You can check out our website @ "http://www.lazywater.com/"

In 2004 I won gold medal in kumite at the New England Karate-do Association State Qualifere hosted by Shihan Arias.

2005 I'm attended Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, R.I. Finishing up my last year In the 12th grade. My plans are to attend CCRI or URI in the Providence or the Warwick area for 2 yrs. Computer grapic’s and another 2 yrs. In Busness Management so I can help my father at the Hombu Dojo.

In 2004 I won gold medal in kumite at the New England Karate-do Association State Qualifere hosted by Shihan Arias. This is my 3rd gold medal that I have won 3 yrs. In a row.

2005 I was awarded my 5th Dan Certificate from the Karazenpo Go Shinjutsu Black Belt Society under Sijo Victor Sonny Gascon 10th Dan founder, my father happens to be the President of the Karazenpo Go Shin Jitsu Black Belt Secoiety,

2005 I won the gold medel in Kumite at the Greater Conn. Traditional Karate-do Challenge. hosted by Shihan Deleon of Deleons American Shotokan Karate-do.

2006 our band the Foundry just released its 1st Album my father is my biggist fan and our biggist supporter.

2006. I was Inducted into the Shojukempo International Martial Arts Associatiion, International Ryukyukai Karate Association Hall of Fame. Hosted by Hanshi Dr. Robert M. Handley Vice President of Shojukempo International and President of The International Ryukyukai Karate Association. I was awarded the Young Masters Award for 2006

2008 I was ask to take over a Karate-do program at the Main Street Martial Arts dojo that teaches Aikido. but, has changed over to teaching Traditional Martial Arts. headed my Micheal Werth Sensei a 2nd Dan in Aikido. and a great good friend of my father and he was my Algabra teacher when I was in High School.

2010. I was awarded my Shodan in Aiki-jujitsu from the Sentou ryu Hombu Dojo.

21 yrs of Martial Arts training and I’m just beginning!
